The CMA Announces a Winner!

The CMA would like to congratulate Gina Catenazzo of Toronto on winning the first CMA poster contest. This year, students from Humber College's Graphic Design program at the Digital Imaging Training Centre in Toronto were asked to submit their entries in hopes of winning a $300 cash prize and bragging rights for an opportunity at having their poster printed and distributed at this year's Marfan Conference in Montreal. 
Gina's "1 in 2" poster was the winning selection out of a number of entries that were reviewed by our board. It was felt that her poster captured the urgency and importance of creating an impactfull awareness about Marfan syndrome. The CMA would also like to thank Tim O'Keeffe, Zora Kadyrbekova, Brian Cole, Vandana Lad, Dil Hundal, Robert DiClemente and Alessia Ribeiro for their fantastic entries. Everyone had really great concepts, ideas and designs which made the selection process really difficult. Thanks for all your participation and hard work.
This contest was a great success and has proven to not only create awareness for Marfan syndrome as a disease but has also allowed us to see the need for more communication mediums such as this in the near future.
